ABOUT

HEAP is a program that has been around since 1969  in Huntsville, Texas.

HEAP has a long-standing tradition in Huntsville, Texas.  It has been around long enough for the children that attended in it's early years now have children and grandchildren that currently participate.

During the 1980's Linda Pease who is now at the Wynne Home ran HEAP and it used to be available to adults too.

John Fortner and his family ran the HEAP program for 17 years. John has now retired.  If you see him around town, thank him for his tireless contribution to this wonderful program.
