HEAP Day to Day

Each day, students will enter the building between 7:30 - 8:00 am at the front entrance, which is located in the back of the school on Avenue J. Once they enter through the band hall entrance HEAP students will go  straight to the gym assigned for their age group or to the cafeteria for breakfast.  If they do eat breakfast, they will report to the gym when they are done.  

From the gym, students will sit in groups according to their first class.  At 8:00 am, teachers will start escorting their 8:00 am group to their classroom.  

Each student will have 4 classes.  After each class, they will be escorted to the gym with their teacher and then get with their new group to go to their next class.  

Ages 6-9 (trac 1) will have a popsicle break at 10am.

Ages 10-13 (trac 2) will have a popsicle break at 10am.

All students will be monitored and escorted at all times throughout the morning.  

After the last class, students will walk toward the cafeteria.  They can stop and eat lunch or they can go outside to get picked up. 

All students must be picked up by 12:15 pm.
